PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow guard fittings for longitudinally laid roofing which can strongly fix the roofing at a low cost. SOLUTION: The snow guard fittings 1 used as a pair for the longitudinally laid roofing has a bottom surface 13, snow stopping surfaces 12 and 12 raised from both the sides of the bottom surface 13 and has meeting surfaces 11 opened upward continuing from each side of the snow stopping surfaces 12 and 12 connected together, the meeting surfaces 11 are formed to make a reversed-V shape when the snow guard fittings 1 and 1 are combined together, a contact portion 16 is formed by notching a continuous portion from the bottom of an aligning surface 11 to the bottom surface 13 at the bottom edge of the snow stopping surfaces 12 and 12, a protruded portion 16a is formed at the contact portion 16, the upper portions of the meeting surfaces 11 and 11 of the snow guard fittings 1 are contacted together which are then used for covering the longitudinally laid roofing, a fixing device inserted to the meeting surface is clamped together and the snow guard fittings 1 is fixed to the longitudinally laid roofing.
