PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame wall structure and a residence composed of it, in which an underfloor space, a space in a wall body and an attic space can be communicated by vent holes and a vent notch, in the frame wall structure with the vent holes formed to a frame constituting the wall body and a head connection fastening the frame and the vent notch formed to a floor joist although slight holes having no effect on a structure on the frame, which solve the problem that the head connection must be formed in conventional devices for ensuring an airway in the wall body in a frame-wall construction method and there is the possibility that the sufficient airway in the wall body is not assured. SOLUTION: Unmovable air generated when the vent holes 20 are not formed to all of each wall panel can be moved in the horizontal direction through the vent notches 21 by combining the vent holes 20 and the vent notches 21, and the sufficient airway in the wall body can be endured.
