PACKING MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING UNDERFLOOR VENTILATION STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing material and a method for constructing an underfloor ventilation structure, by which the adjustment of unevenness by a leveler can be made unnecessary while labor with the construction of the underfloor ventilation structure can be reduced and the term of works shortened. SOLUTION: The packing material 1 forms an opening for venting between the upper end of a foundation for a building and a sill laid on the foundation, and is composed of a main body 2 and a female screw member 3 rotatably installed to the main body 2. The height place of the packing material 1 can be adjusted by regulating the extent of a screwing to an anchor bolt 4 fixed into forms 5 for forming the foundation in the female screw member 3. The main body 2 is fixed onto the foundation formed by fitting the inside of the forms 5 with concrete under the state in which a part of the main body is buried.
