PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide socks having such a danger-protective function as to prevent an elderly person from stumbling or having a fall during walking. SOLUTION: The socks each has a tightening belt part 6 highly stretchable in a direction of drawing the thumb toe 4 and the little toe 5 so as to become close to each other, and formed ranging from the end of the arch 3 of the sock 1 to the toe joint 2 thereof.
