PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening device allowing confirmation of electric continuity of a car body earth when an earth bracket (earth terminal, earth plate, etc.), is attached to the car body using a bolt, etc. SOLUTION: A lead rod supporting plate 2 is attached to the upper part of a motor-driven driver body part 1, and a lead rod 4 is installed at the forefront of the plate 2. In the condition that a bolt Wb is fastened, the tip of the lead rod 4 abuts the surface of the earth plate Wa. The negative electrode side of a built-in battery is connected with the car body W through a cable for testing the electric continuity-not illustrated. When a threaded hole Wg for earth is in the electrically continued condition, current flows via the positive electrode side of the built-in battery, trigger switch 11, pilot lamp 12, lead rod supporting plate 2, lead rod 4, earth plate Wa, bolt Wb, car body W, the testing cable, and the negative electrode side of the battery, and thereby the pilot lamp 12 will light up.
