PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coolant collecting device capable of leading coolant fed to a ground point to a coolant collecting passage so as to flow smoothly without overflowing. SOLUTION: The coolant collecting passage 14 is installed, aslant in one direction, under the point of a work ground by a tool. A coolant collecting box 15 is installed between the ground point and the coolant collecting passage. The coolant collecting box 15 comprises an opening part 16 in the upper surface thereof toward the ground point, is inclined on the lower surface thereof in the same direction as the inclination of the coolant collecting passage 14, and openings 17 near the lowermost area toward the coolant collecting passage 14.
