PURPOSE: A fuel injection nozzle for a diesel engine is provided to achieve simplified structure, while reducing losses of fuel pressure and costs. CONSTITUTION: A fuel injection nozzle(1) comprises a nozzle body(2) having a fuel injection hole formed at the bottom of the nozzle body; an eye bolt(3) for returning of the residual fuel; an adjustment screw(4); a push rod(6); a return spring(5); and a needle valve(7) connected to the lower end of the push rod. The push rod has a top extended upward so that the top tightly contacts the adjustment screw. A fuel passage(10) is formed in a linear way penetrating through the centers of the components arranged from the eye bolt to the needle valve. The needle valve has a lower end with a tapered portion where a hole is formed to communicate a lower pressure chamber formed at the nozzle body to the fuel passage. The top of the fuel passage is connected to the fuel injection pump side, and the needle valve is connected to the push rod. The return spring applies force to lower the needle valve.
