PURPOSE: A drum brake having a brake shoe is provided to prevent uneven wear of the lining, and to reduce braking noise by distributing pressure to the lining evenly with modifying the structure of the brake shoe rim. CONSTITUTION: A drum brake has a drum(10) rotating with a wheel, brake shoes mounting a lining(31) contacted to the drum for braking, a wheel cylinder between brake shoes, an arc rim(32) mounting the lining, and a web(33) mounted in the middle of the rim and contacted to the wheel cylinder. An uneven bead part(32a) is formed along the web mounting portion in the rim to increase the flexible rigidity in changing the sectional area and prevent deformation of the rim in braking. Braking force is improved, and uneven wear and braking noise are reduced with contacting the lining to the drum evenly.
