PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus for reporting navigation used for determining a current position to a user with improved visibility without providing any exclusive display areas. SOLUTION: The navigation apparatus comprises a self-contained navigation means that has azimuth and distance sensors for measuring a current position based on output from the azimuth and distance sensors, and a satellite navigation means for measuring the current position by a signal from a GPS satellite, determines the current position based on the current position that is measured by the self-contained navigation means and/or the satellite navigation means, and displays a display image for showing the current position along with map information. In the navigation means, a control means is provided, where the control means displays which is the navigation means is used to determine the current position according to difference in the display image. |
