PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map displaying method and its display by which relative positional relations between a moving body and changes of meteorological conditions can be grasped. SOLUTION: In a map display 12 of a vehicle 10, its CPU 100 carries out a meteorological information acquisition program 110c, acquires meteorological information from a meteorological information center 20 via a communication portion 180, and records the information in a work memory 120. When a vehicle position detection program 110a detects the present place of the vehicle 10 from output results of each kind of sensors, a running history record program 110b stores the vehicle position in the work memory 120 along with its detection time. When a user directs display of the meteorological information, a lithography program 110d extracts an arbitrary vehicle position and meteorological information at its detection time from the work memory 120, and displays them on a display portion 200 along with map data extracted from a road map data base 130. Pieces of meteorological information are displayed with the passage of time in the order of oldness of time. |
