PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide steel members coated with high strength and highly anti- corrosion property having an excellent impact resistance and a high peel strength for steel pipe pile against shocks when driving the steel pipe pile or other impacts created by rubble-stone after the driving and other shocks by ships or other floated objects. SOLUTION: A protecting coat by fiber-reinforced resin is directly fixed to welded bolts and nuts to a shaft position along the coated end portion, and the coating is applied only to steel pipe main body except claws and claw fitting surfaces of steel pipe. That is, a bolt is welded to the surface of the steel pipe pile 1, surface treatment is given including the welded portion, a primer layer 2 and a polyurethane layer 3 are laminated to a thickness of 1 to 6 mm. In addition, on the surface layer, a protective coating layer having the layer thickness of more than 2 mm of fiber reinforced resin 4 is applied to the surface layer. After attaching nuts, the nuts can be fully covered by coating the fiber reinforced resin layer 5 to the surface. Lastly, a decorative paint is coated to the surface layer of the steel pipe pile coated with high strength and high anti-corrosion. |
