PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas compressor improved in durability by preventing the fretting wear caused by the vibration of an oil separating filter. SOLUTION: This compressor comprises a pressing and fixing means for pressing and fixing both end parts of the oil separating filter 21. As this pressing and fixing means, the compressor comprises, for example, a contact block part 22 on which the bottom of the oil separating filter abuts; a circumferential block part 23 having a filter housing hole 26 for inserting the oil separating filter; and a pressing plate 25 put on the tip part side of the oil separating filter and mounted on and fixed to the circumferential block part. The oil separating filter tip part 21a is provided to protrude to the surface of the circumferential block part 23 through the filter housing hole 26, and the protruded oil separating filter tip part 21a is pushed and bent by the pressing plate 25 and elastically deformed.
