PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and high-performance projection lens. SOLUTION: This projection lens T is equipped with a first lens group G1 having negative refractive power as a whole and a second lens group G2 having positive refractive power as a whole in order from a screen S side. The second lens group G2 has a doublet H. The doublet H is constituted of a lens L5 being a positive lens and a lens L4 being a negative lens. The second lens group G2 has a lens L7 at least either one of whose surface (R13 ) is aspherical.
