PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent adhesion, solidification, and accumulation of a material such as a tar content contained in cracked gas, on a conduit. SOLUTION: First and second rotary kilns 21 and 22 constituting a thermal cracking treatment means are situated in upper and lower spots, the two kilns are interconnected through a conveyance duct 31, and a material treated by the first rotary kiln 21 is conveyed in the second rotary kiln 22 through the conveyance duct 31. Carbonized gas is introduced in the conduit 32 through the conveyance duct 31. The conduit 32 is communicated with a carbonized gas blast tube 37 disposed in a hot blast stove 35 and a carbonized gas combustion furnace 36 pipe, and carbonized gas is introduced in the carbonized gas combustion furnace 36 by blast from a blower 38 for carbonized gas situated at the external part of the hot blast stove 35. Meanwhile, the conduit 32 is surrounded by a connection jacket 39 and heated by a thermal medium fed to the connection jacket 39, and the material such as the tar content is prevented from adhesion and solidification.
