PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a faucet from protruding greatly from the surface of a wall even if a cut off valve is added together. SOLUTION: A water pipe 13 on the back B of the wall is connected to the faucet 12 on the front A of the wall via an upstream cut off valve 14 and a downstream piping tool 15. The cut off valve 14 has a body part 18 provided with a valve seat 16 and a valve element 17 and positioned on the back B of the wall, and an operating part 19 for operating the valve element faces the front A of the wall via a wall through hole D. Even if the cut off valve 14 is added, the projected length of the faucet 12 from the surface C of the wall can be reduced, so a working space such as washing space around the faucet 12 is not reduced. Even if a force is inadvertently applied to the faucet 12, bending moments produced near the junction of the faucet 12 are reduced to prevent damage that tends to occur near the joint of the faucet 12.
