PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correcting the position of the origin becoming the origin of a chuck when a molded article is held in a molded article ejector to be ejected to a predetermined release position. SOLUTION: An origin position memory region storing the origin position of the chuck to a resin molding machine and a position data memory region storing moving position data related to the respective moving positions of the chuck having the origin position as a cardinal point are provided to the molded article ejector for moving the chuck to a predetermined position from the origin position accompanied by the driving of a numerically controlled servo motor to eject the molded article from the resin molding machine. When the attaching position of the molded article ejector to the resin molding machine is displaced, the origin position data stored in the origin position memory region and the moving position data of the chuck stored in the position data memory region are subjected to correction processing on the basis of the displacement quantity by an origin position correction means and the driving of the servo motor is controlled on the basis of the corrected origin position data and the moving position data to move the chuck to a predetermined position.
