<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot simulation device capable of making a motion simulation of the whole system in which a robot and its peripherals are combined. SOLUTION: The motion program teached by a robot control device 1 is executed, and the operating position information and the I/O data for the peripherals such as a welding machine 3 are fed to a personal computer (PC) 4 via an Ethernet (registered trademark) cable 5 at specified time intervals. The PC 4 draws in animation the robot motions and the motions of the peripherals such as welding machine 3 on the display screen on the basis of the operating position information and the I/O data and also displays the operating conditions of the peripherals such as welding machine 3. Because the motions of the whole system and its condition are displayed using animated motions, it is easy to grasp the motions of the whole system, to serve for issuing an alarm, making troubleshooting in the event of error, etc.</p> |
