PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft polyurethane foam, and a method for manufacturing the same, free of bottoming, excellent in supporting, in vibration characteristics, and in durability. SOLUTION: The soft polyurethane foam exhibits an X value of 4.2 or less, as calculated by using expression (1): a load (N) - flexure amount (mm) curve obtained by a load test, or exhibits a Y value of 1.8 or less as calculated by using expression (2) in a load (N) - flexure amount (mm) curve obtained by a load test of the core. Expression (1) states: X = static spring constant at load of 883 N/static spring constant at load of 98 N, and expression (2) states: Y = static spring constant at load of 127.4 N/static spring constant at load of 19.6 N. |
