PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a display part which reduces an assembling process by making a printing process of the display part unnecessary and is free from dispersion in a colored condition of a display index, and a structure of a switch device with a display. SOLUTION: A coated surface 1g is formed on the whole surface by bake- coating a surface of a metal made plate material with a required color. A display part 1e wherein a part of the coated surface 1g is connected with a splicing furring part 1c is formed by pressing the whole of the coated surface 1g in a required shape. By applying resin molding to the metal made plate material under a condition wherein a part of the display part 1e is exposed to outside, a resin molded article 2 wherein a part of the coated surface 1g is made the display part 1e is formed. Thereafter, a display part 3 is formed by cutting the resin molded article 2 from the splicing furring parts 1c and 1d. |
