PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide surveying equipment that can smoothly perform a high- priority process such as the leveling up, etc., without using a pulse pattern generating circuit exclusively used for the leveling up nor hindering another process performed in parallel with the leveling up. SOLUTION: This surveying equipment has a computer which processes a plurality of items in a prescribed cycle period. This equipment is provided with a first preferential processing item means 2 which performs control in accordance with a timing signal generated in a first control period, a plurality of second preferential processing item means 4 which perform control in a second control period longer than the first control period, and a means (second preferential processing item means selecting means) 3 which selects the second preferential processing item means 4 which performs control in accordance with the timing signal out of the plurality of second preferentially processing item means 4. This equipment is constituted to cause the second preferentially processing item means 4 selected by means of the selecting means 3 to perform the control after the control by means of the first preferentially processing item means 2 ends.
