PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rifle capable of releasing a safety device after authenticating a user. SOLUTION: A scope 101 is provided with an iris photographing camera 102 for photographing an iris image and an eyepiece sensor 103 detecting to approach to an eye. This rifle is provided with a data selection part 105 selecting iris data from the iris image photographed by the iris photographing camera 102, a registered data storage part 106 registering the iris data of a user, an authentication part 107 comparing to the registered iris data, a control part 104 controlling the safety device according to the success/failure of the authentication and the state of the eyepiece sensor, the safety device 108 controllable by the control part, an input part 109 performing operations in registering and deleting the user, and a display part 110 displaying the success/failure of the authentication and operation state.
