PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket having a simple constitution and exercising the stable sealing performance. SOLUTION: A plurality of cuts 52 as engaged parts are formed on a side wall face of a mounting groove 51 at a position corresponding to a part where a groove bottom of the mounting groove 51 is curved in the height direction, on the other hand, the gasket 1 is provided with a plurality of projections 3 as engaging parts on the parts corresponding to the cuts 52, so that the projections 3 formed on the gasket 1 are engaged with the cuts 52 when the gasket 1 are mounted on the mounting groove 51.
