PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer for a reinforcement free from rocking and turning around a vertical main reinforcement. SOLUTION: This spacer for the reinforcement is provided with a spacer body 10 bent in trapezoidal shape turned sideways with a grounding upper base 11c almost parallel with a vertical main reinforcement 1; a vertical main reinforcement locking hook 16 integrally projecting by a fixed length L from one inclined leg face 11a; a vertical main reinforcement pressing bolt 15 screw- fastened to a bolt support flange 12 bent outward from the same inclined leg face 11a; a vertical main reinforcement locking claw 17 notched at the end part of the other inclined leg face 11b; and a lateral pair of hoop reinforcement locking hooks 18a, 18b integrally bent and projected from the other inclined leg face 11b to a hoop reinforcement 2. The spacer is set to be mounted to an intersecting part between the vertical main reinforcement 1 and the hoop reinforcement 2 in a reinforcing cage A.
