PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic siren device for a vehicle, valuable in practical use and capable of relaxing mental uneasiness and strain to be given to people around the vehicle by stopping a siren sound to be issued from a speaker of the vehicle. SOLUTION: A stop switch 21 and a volume-down control circuit 20 are installed in a driving circuit 10 for generating the siren sound in the speaker 1 mounted on the vehicle. At the time when a stop command signal is input to the volume-down control circuit 20 by operating the stop switch 21 on, the volume of the siren sound issued by the speaker 1 is gradually reduced down to zero volume in a desired volume-down time Ta. Thus, mental preparation for the stop of the siren sound is given to people around the vehicle to relax metal uneasiness and strain accompanying the stop of the siren sound.
