PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door hinge part structure for an automobile capable of quickly and efficiently transmitting input in a collision of a vehicle from a pillar member to a door main body, while securing a necessary clearance required for adjustment in installation of a door and ensuring a sealing property in a door opening. SOLUTION: In this door hinge part structure, a pillar side hinge member 30 is fixed to an outside wall 25a of a front pillar 8 extending in the vehicle vertical direction, and the door main body 4a is arranged so that a part of a front wall 11a is arranged opposedly to the rear side wall 25c of the front pillar 8 at a clearance A1 , a door side hinge member 31 is fixed to the front wall 11a of the door main body 4a, and the door side hinge member 31 is connected to the pillar side hinge member 30 via a hinge pin 32 rotationally. A projection member 37 extending toward the front wall 11a of the door main body 4a is arranged in the pillar side hinge member 30, and a clearance A2 between the projection member 37 and the front wall 11a is set to be smaller than the clearance A1 .
