PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the size of a slide cam and a vertical cam from being increased even when the length of a turnable die necessary for stable operation is ensured in an underlaid cam-type forming device. SOLUTION: The length in the slide direction of a protruded part of the turnable die is set to be the length necessary for the stable operation of a press at the partial width of one or a plurality of parts in the turning-axial direction, and the length of the turnable die is set to be shorter than the protruded part at other partial width parts. A recessed part to accept a rise of the protruded part by the turn of the turnable die is provided on a slide surface of the slide cam with the turnable die so that the turnable die can be evacuated when a forward part of the slide cam after the forming is completed is retracted to the position over the short part of the turnable die.
