Portable mine stop

A mine stop is formed from wall sections (1) including a number of connected panels (5). The panels (5) are telescopic and can therefore be extended to abut the mine roof. Adjacent wall sections can be connected by use of a quick release mechanism or hinged together (figs 14-16). Any gaps may be sealed with a sealant (61, fig 8) such as a flame retardant latex, or polyurethane foam.
