PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warm air heater having a humidifying function, which generates no air mixing inside a water supply pump and causes no failure or abnormal sound of the water supply pump. SOLUTION: The warm air heater is configured so that an heat exchanger is provided wherein combustion hot air is supplied from a thermal-power adjustable combustion chamber to a blast passage in a main body case; warm air after being heat-exchanged by blowing air from an air inlet to a heat exchange part by means of an air blower is supplied through an outlet to the indoor; the humidifying dish, to which water of a water supply tank is supplied by a water supply pump, is provided in the blast passage on the leeward from the heat exchanger; and humidifying water of the humidifying dish is evaporated by warm air and then supplied to the indoor with warm air. Further, the warm air heater comprises a dish water detection means 44 for detecting the presence or absence of humidifying water in the humidifying dish 32 and a controller 60A for controlling the water supply pump 39 to operate intermittently for a given period T when the dish water detection means 44 detects the absence of humidifying water in the humidifying dish 32. |
