<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for a vehicle allowing a transported body with wheels to easily get in/out of the vehicle. SOLUTION: When getting a wheelchair in the vehicle, a gearing member 13 of the safety device S and a gearing member 14 are geared with a fixing ratchet 11 and a brake ratchet 12 respectively, a rewind member 15 can be rotated only in the rewinding direction, and a wire is rewound in the rewind direction without a slack with the movement of the wheelchair so that the wheelchair can be get therein with a person in the wheelchair in a safe state. When getting out of the vehicle, the gearing member 14 and the brake ratchet 12 are in geared states, braking is applied between the brake ratchet 12 and the fixing ratchet 11 against a rotation in the drawing-out direction via a clutch 5, and a force is applied in the direction for preventing the retreat and falling of the wheelchair so that the wheelchair can get out of the vehicle with the person in the wheelchair in the safe state.</p> |
