PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic simulation apparatus provided with a sound source excellent in reproducibility of a generated sound, and a simulation method using the system. SOLUTION: An acoustic characteristic of an acoustic space 11 is analyzed using the acoustic simulation system provided with a model 12 having the acoustic space 11, a substantially non-directional speaker 20 of a polygonal shape provided with a plurality of piezoelectric speakers 22 and arranged in a prescribed position of the acoustic space 11, an amplifier 13a for driving the plurality of piezoelectric speakers 22, a microphone 14a for receiving a response signal in the acoustic space 11 resulting from the drive of the speaker 20 in the space 11, a microphone amplifier 4b for amplifying an output from the microphone 14a up to a prescribed amplitude, and a computer 17 for analyzing an output signal (that is, the response of the acoustic space) of the microphone amplifier 14b.
