PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability by eliminating the need for accuracy on the workability of works for the alignment of an anchor bolt because the anchor bolt and a joint member are not clamped directly. SOLUTION: The building has sills 4A and 4B fixed onto a continuous footing 2 by the anchor bolts 3, a column 6 disposed in upright on the corner sections 5 of the sills 4A and 4B and the joint member 7 joining the sills 4A and 4B and the column 6. The joint member 7 has two side extended piece sections 8 and 9 crossed along the corner section 5 of the sills and an upward extended piece section 11 upwards extended from the crossed sections 10 of these side extended piece sections 8 and 9. Slits 13 and 13 in which the side extended piece sections 8 and 9 are inserted are formed at the end sections of the sills mutually abutted at the corner sections 5 respectively, a slit 14 in which the upward extended piece section 11 is inserted is formed at the lower end section of the column 6 and the side extended piece sections 8 and 9 are fixed onto the sills and the upward extended piece section 11 onto the column 6 by fixtures 15 under the state in which the sections 8 and 9 and the section 11 are inserted into each slit 13 and 14 respectively.
