PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose the connecting structure of a sill and a column, which has an excellent connection among members and the cost of which is reduced and in which time on the execution of works is not required, by using the sill, which is lightweight, abounds in termite prevention and rot-proofness, has high stability on quality and is mild even to environment. SOLUTION: In the connecting structure of the sill and the column with the sill 10 composed of extruded profiles made of an aluminum alloy arranged to the upper section of a foundation B, a column mounting member 20 consisting of the extruded profiles made of the aluminum alloy arranged on the top face of the sill 10 and the wooden column 30 in which a lower section is fixed onto the column mounting member 20, the column mounting member 20 is formed in an inverted T-shaped cross section by a bottom plate 21 fixed onto the top face of the sill 10 by a bolt and a connecting plate 22 disposed in upright from an approximately central section in the cross direction of the bottom plate 21, and the column 30 is fixed onto the connecting plate 22 by connecting pins or bolts under the state in which the connecting plate 22 is inserted into a slit 31 formed at the lower end section of the column 30.
