PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an insulating adhesive capable of keeping sure electrical connection with high reliability even when exposed under high temperature or even when thermal shock is given thereto, having long pot life and capable of firmly maintaining initial adhesivity and adhesion-retaining force, and an anisotropically electroconductive adhesive, and to provide a heat seal connector and a method for producing the heat seal connector. SOLUTION: The insulating adhesive comprises (A) a liquid epoxy resin, (B) a curing agent for the epoxy resin, (C) a monofunctional acrylic acid monomer and (D) a two or more functional acrylic acid monomer or oligomer. The anisotropically electroconductive adhesive 1 is prepared by compounding 100 vol.% of the insulating adhesive with 0.1-50 vol.% electroconductive particles. The heat seal connector is obtained by providing a flexible base material 2 and a plurality of electroconductive lines 3 arranged side by side on the surface of the flexible base material 2 and applying the anisotropically electroconductive adhesive 1 to a connecting part connected to at least an electrically jointed material of each electroconductive line 3.
