<p>To simplify the constitution, facilitate the formation, and improve the strength of a front fork of a straddling type of vehicle, the front fork (12) with its upper end supported with the lower end of a steering shaft (11) is made up of: a bracket (63) supported with the lower end of the steering shaft (11), paired right and left upper tubes (65,65) extending dawn in straight lines from the right and left side portions of the bracket (63), and paired right and left lower tubes (66,66) fitted for free axial sliding into the lower end sides of the paired right and left upper tubes (65,65). The bracket (63) and the right and left upper tubes (65,65) are formed to be integral with each other.
