PURPOSE: An unmanned video guarding system using the Internet is provided to discriminate an invader and an incorrect report when an anti-crime situation is generated by supplying video and voice information for the client using a very high speed communication network and an Internet proprietary network. CONSTITUTION: A set-top box(10) is connected to a camera(9), various kinds of sensor units(8), and a card reader(7). The set-top box(10) converts a video and voice signal of the camera(9) into a digital signal. The set-top box(10) includes a connection device for connecting to an Internet communication network(11) and a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network)(13). The PSTN(13) is connected to a control center(16). A video and voice data signal received from the camera(9), the sensor units(8), and the card reader(7) is received and stored in a database through a control server(15) of the control center(16). The control center(16) judges an anti-crime situation through a web monitor of an Internet homepage and connects an alarm situation to a control center(16), etc. |
