PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for predicting performance of exhaust gas cleaning device which allows an exact prediction of cleaning performance even on the cold start. SOLUTION: When the performance of the exhaust gas cleaning device using a catalyst is predicted by means of a catalytic reaction model, the catalytic reaction model is set up so as to contain mass transfer and heat transfer caused by adsorption/desorption of HC and H2 O for the catalyst. |
