PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor automatic rice milling apparatus capable of excellently performing rice milling operation while stably keeping the milling rate of rice even when a downsized cleaned rice hopper is used. SOLUTION: The milled rice hopper 13 for storing milled rice discharged from a rice milling machine 3 after completing rice milling is provided with a milled rice high-limit sensor 69 for detecting that the milled rice reaches the full level, and a control means for transiently stopping the rice milling operation when the milled rice high-limit sensor 69 detects that the milled rice reaches the full level and restarting the rice milling operation when the level of the cleaned rice is decreased from the full level. Thereby, even when a small hopper is used as the milled rice hopper 13, overflowing of the milled rice from the milled rice hopper 13 and irregular discharge of the milled rice from the rice milling machine 3 can be prevented to stably maintain the milling rate of the milled rice.
