PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peeling cutter in view of the fact that as it takes time to peel the stalk of Farfugium japonicum and butterbur and the vine of sweet potato by a conventional method and workability is poor, a tool to increase the work efficiency is required. SOLUTION: This peeling cutter 1 has a through hole 8 to insert the ends of plant stalk and vine 2 therethrough, a guide part 4 with the through hole 8 into which a guide pawl 10 comprising a plate spring piece 10A bent in almost L shape and having snapping power is inserted, and a cutter part 3 forming an insertion hole 11a which communicates with the through hole 8 of the guide part 4 and in which a blade 9 comprising a plate-like blade piece 9A is crossly arranged.
