PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating paper product wastes laminated with resins which is capable of easily sortably separating paper base materials and resin films laminated to these paper base materials at a low cost. SOLUTION: The paper product wastes laminated with the resins are housed into a treating vessel 5 and water is charged into the treating vessel 5, and while the pressure in the treating vessel 5 is reduced, the paper product wastes are agitated and ruptured by suitable agitating means 6.
