PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new laundry pole hanger spread high, folded compactly, strong and maintaining a sure spread posture. SOLUTION: A fixing member 3 for which a cylindrical housing part 9 is constituted on one side fixable to a fence 2 of a veranda or the like and a sliding rod 4 of an appropriate length inserted into the cylindrical housing part 9, made freely slidable in a vertical direction and connection-released in a sliding direction via a stopper 12 are constituted. An arm member 8 is pivoted to a flat part 20 of an arm fixing metal fitting 5 fixed to a peak end of the sliding rod 4. On an oblong hole 22 of the arm member 8, a pin shaft 23 is freely slidably and turnably provided.
