Fractional distillation performed to recover butane used as a desorbent component for adsorptive separation is integrated with the other fractionation of the raffinate stream of a C5-C6 paraffin adsorptive separation zone. A single fractionation column is employed to recover the desorbent butane, a highly branched paraffin product stream and a mono-branched paraffin rich recycle stream, thus reducing the cost of the process.
