PURPOSE: A system for managing a time capsule and a method thereof are provided to inform an opening time and transmit a message to a time capsule receiver through a mobile communication terminal before an opening date of the time capsule. CONSTITUTION: A network interface(110) is connected to a time capsule supplier computer, processes a digital data communication, supplies web document information, and realizes a web interface function. A member registration unit(130) receives personal information including a mobile communication terminal number and identification of a user. A service selection input unit(140) receives opening time data of the time capsule and a message. The service selection input unit(140) registers an opening time alarm service and a message transmission service. A time checking unit(150) checks the opening time data periodically and transmits a search request signal of corresponding data before the opening time. If the search request signal is received, the database(190) searches and extracts corresponding opening time data, data message, and personal information of the time capsule receiver. A data transmission unit(170) transmits the extracted personal information of the time capsule receiver, the opening time data, and the data message to a mobile communication businessman, and the data are transmitted to the mobile communication terminal number of the time capsule receiver. A commodity supply unit(180) receives information from the receiver before the opening time of the time capsule, authenticates the receiver, and request a record for supplying a commodity for the receiver.
