PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of water used and to effectively perform crushing in a disposer-equipped garbage disposal sink into which garbage is thrown from a plurality of places of an elongated sink having a narrow longitudinal width and an elongated lateral width. SOLUTION: In a garbage disposal sink as used in a company cafeteria and having a frontage elongated so that a plurality of employees may simultaneously throw garbage (leavings of a meal) thereinto, the sink 1 has a throw surface 2 which is gently slanted in the longitudinal direction and into which garbage is thrown and a narrow discharge groove 3 which extends along the lower margin of the surface 2 and is slanted at a suitable angle in the lateral direction; the slanted discharge groove 3 has a throw port 4 for a disposer 5 at its lower end; a water shower 6 that feeds water into the surface 2 is provided; and a water feed port 7 is provided at the upper end of the groove 3, whereupon the garbage slowly carried along the surface 2 onto the grove 3 can be carried away onto the port 4 by using a small amount of water. |
