METHOD FOR DISINFECTING WET WEATHER SEWAGE FOR COMBINED SEWER SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disinfecting method for stably and surely subjecting wet weather sewage to a disinfecting treatment in a combined sewer system. SOLUTION: The method for disinfecting the wet weather sewage relating to one embodiment of this invention comprises adding a disinfecting agent to the wet weather sewage at a relay pump station where the wet weather sewage is released or a relay pump station upstream of a sewage disposal plant and adding the disinfecting agent to the sewage in the relay pump station or the sewage disposal plant before the wet weather sewage added with the disinfecting agent is released in the relay pump station or the sewage disposal plant. An equipment for implementing such disinfecting method is also provided.
