<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve flexibility in designing a center of gravity of a head. SOLUTION: This iron-type golf club head 1 has a face member 2 having a face surface F hitting a ball, and a head body part 3 provided with a face mounting part 4 for mounting the face member 2 on its front face. The face mounting part 4 is composed of an inner peripheral face part 4a supporting an outer peripheral face 2a of the face member 2, and a supporting wall 4b slightly projecting into the inner peripheral face part at a rear side of the inner peripheral face part 4a, and supporting a back face of a peripheral edge part 2b of the face member 2. At least a part of the supporting wall 4b has a thickness thinner than the peripheral edge part 2b of the face member 2.</p> |
