PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retractable fixture for use in a masking process and a clamp process, capable of easily performing a fixture change, and contributing to a cost reduction by eliminating incidental equipment required for ensuring safety. SOLUTION: The fixture comprises a working table 11 having a set unit 12 for setting a processing object, a masking plate 20 rotatably supported on the working table 11 via a support bracket 13, and an external cylinder 30 for driving the masking plate 20. A receive arm A for the masking plate 20 is pressed downward by a pressing member 32 provided at the leading end of a piston rod of the external cylinder 30 to make the masking plate 20 open. Also, the masking plate 20 is closed by its own weight in association with the shrinkage operation of the external cylinder 30. Thus, the difference in performance of processing objects can be coped with by performing a simple fixture change without requiring provision of each dedicated type, and necessity of an area sensor can be eliminated.
