PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pet robot detectable even a slight contact to the beard of the pet robot while securing safety of a pet robot lover. SOLUTION: The pet robot has the flocked beard 1 consisting of an electroconductive wire material and is internally provided with a tactile sensation detecting means 2 which judges presence of an electric component impressed by the contact or approach of a human body to the beard 1 and also outputs a contact confirming signal when the electric component impressed by the contact of the human body is judged to exist and with a reacting means 3 for receiving the contact confirming signal and performing a prescribed action.
