NEW METHOD FOR NUTRIENT PROPAGATION OF PLANT AND PLANT PROPAGATED BY THE SAME METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both a method for nutrient propagation of plants by which the propagation efficiency is excellent without causing an increase in cost and a large amount of homogeneous plant seedlings at a low cost. SOLUTION: A primary limb (1) of a stock plant is pinched in a pinching part A and a large amount of adventitious buds (5) are then grown from cut surfaces (pinched parts A and B) of the primary limb (1) and auxiliary bud stems by a treatment for cutting at least one, more preferably all of the elongating auxiliary buds (4) in the pinched parts (B). The grown adventitious buds (5) are collected to carry out the nutrient propagation, e.g. cutting or grafting. Thereby, the large amount of the homogeneous plant seedlings can be provided at a low cost.
