PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable resin converted paper mulch for agricultural use, having biodegradability, and further having high wet strength and good water resistance, having high tensile strength, light so that its workability in laying operation is good, and capable of being easily controlled in an acceleration rate of its biodegradation. SOLUTION: This biodegradable resin converted paper mulch is made by adding fixing agent and the biodegradable resin to a pulp fiber to form a sheet stock and sheeting the stock to form the mulch.
