PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home base for pitching practice and a seal for the home base capable of allowing a pitcher to get a pitching target not by a pint or a plane but by a line in pitching practice, and to provide the home base for pitching practice capable of allowing the pitcher to perform the pitching practice while keeping a regulated distance between the home base and a pitcher's mound. SOLUTION: A pitching target line or two or more plane displays capable of connecting the pitching target line are displayed on the home base. The home base is inclined to raise a rear side of the home base. The pitching target line or two or more plane displays capable of connecting the pitching target line are displayed only on one face of the home base. Each home base is provided with a measurement member for measuring the regulated distance between the home base and the pitcher's mound. The pitching target line or two or more plane displays capable of connecting the pitching target line are displayed on a surface of a seal having the size and shape approximately same as those of the home base.
